Maker of the Twenty-first Moon appeared in Daily Science Fiction's first anthology, Not Just Rockets and Robots
Maker of the Twenty-first Moon is a fantasy short story by Sean Patrick Hannifin. It is about a man who tries to kill a wizard before the wizard takes over the world.
Hannifin wrote the first draft of the story in two days, on February 15th and 16th, 2010.
The story was accepted by Daily Science Fiction in August 2010 and published December 15th, 2010, making it Hannifin's first fiction sale.
The story also appeared in print, in Not Just Rockets and Robots, published in the summer of 2012.
In 2014, Hannifin indie-published the story through Morrowgrand with two other stories, No One Was Abendsen and The Final Dream of Samuel Shadows.
