The Final Dream of Samuel Shadows is a fantasy short story by Sean Patrick Hannifin. It is about how a young powerful wizard loses his powers.
It is Hannifin's first story to feature the Kingdom of Bog.
The first draft was completed on April 17, 2011. A bit of editing was done for a final draft on March 2, 2012.
In 2014, Hannifin released the story in a three-story collection called Maker of the Twenty-first Moon.
