The New Design Is Coming . . .

I have been working a website redesign for Wizard Walk, and will hopefully finish it this weekend or next weekend. It will also be the end of this kind of blog, the new blog will be more fancy. Prepare for the new look of Wizard Walk . . .

The end of 2004 . . .

The year of 2004 has now come to an end. Let us remember the important events that happened in 2004:

Completed Opuses 7 - 10 including:

The Aeneid
Canon No 2 in C major
March of the Canterbury Tales
Octet in A minor

Wow, I sure got a lot done . . . but I did begin writing some new longer pieces (with multiple movements!), which I will post when I finish.

Well, the second semester of college has begun. Let's see how much I can get accomplished. I will hopefully update the site a bit more some time this week.

Of course, I did not win the Garritan Orchestration Competition. The winners can be found at:

They have already announced another competition for next year, so there is another chance!

Many thanks to Anynomous who keeps talking to me.

I Give Up!

With a word count at a measly 7,300, I've come to the conclusion that I can't do it! No, I can not. I was trying to write a novel, but I'll save it for later. Instead, I think I'll write more music.

Over and out.

I have written a tenth of my novel!

5,000 words out of 50,000 isn't too bad for the first day! I must get to 50,000 by end of November. I have already planned out my book, except the details of the ending, so I won't be sitting there wondering what I should make happen next. For now, the book is entitled "The Spitwick Wishes" and a very short excerpt can be found on my NaNoWriMo user's profile at:

I won't give any details away on the overall plot yet. It's more of a juvenile/young adult book (3rd, 4th, 5th grades, I guess) and it's not too serious. I can't write serious. Hopefully it will be enjoyable. I'm sure I won't have as much time to write later this week, so it's a good thing I got a lot done today!

Election day tomorrow, hope for the best!

Over and out.
