Well, it's time for my first blog entry! What's a blog? It's what this is! It's a tool that allows webmasters to quickly post news, information, or whatever they want about their website. Everybody's doing it these days.
I submitted a tutorial on 3D Tile-based programming to Conitec's Summer 2004 Contest (http://www.conitec.net/contest.htm). Last year, I won second place in their physics demo contest, but this year the competition is stronger. We'll see how it turns out. Regardless of the outcome, I hope my tutorial helps somebody. The tutorial can be downloaded off the 3d GameStudio Forum.
Now that the contest is over, it's time to start working on my Symphony No 1. I plan to enter that into Gary Garritan's orchestration contest in December (http://www.garritan.com/competition.html), the grand prize is to have a professional orchestra (The Morovian Philharmonic Orchestra, I believe) play the piece. There's little chance of me winning, but there are many other prizes.
